After testing a new desktop web player back in April, based on the company’s mobile apps, YouTube is now rolling it out to all users. Check out more of the updated UI below …
The most immediately visible difference is that the control bar at the bottom of the video is now transparent. The progress bar is also much thinner, and the icons are larger. YouTube tweeted about the change with a video of a waterskiing squirrel, as you would.
