As its press event kicks off at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Huawei has announced a pair of new smartwatches that will launch in Q1 of this year. Much like we reported earlier, both of these watches are designed with the female market in mind. The two watches are called the “Elegant” and “Jewel” models and are variants of the Huawei Watch we’ve come to know.
Today’s new watches bring no new specifications or features to the table, but rather are purely cosmetic refreshes. Both the Elegant and Jewel watches are larger than the original Huawei Watch, coming in at 44mm as opposed 42mm. As you can see in the image above, the Jewel and Elegant models feature thinner bands and a gold casing design. The watch face, of course, is still round, jut like the standard Huawei Watch.
Huawei has left out a handful of details regarding the Elegant and Jewel watches, including specific pricing and availability. All we know is that it will launch sometime during Q1 of this year for between $349 and $799.
