After announcing the flagship Idol 4 and 4S at MWC last month, Alcatel is releasing a $200 unlocked ruggedized phone with decent specs to match. The OneTouch GO PLAY is fully IP67 water, dust, and shock resistant plus comes with an additional thick protective case.

In addition to the various resistance ratings, the GO PLAY has a 5-inch HD display protected by DragonTrail Glass. The phone has a physical camera key to help take pictures under water with an 8MP camera that has HDR, Panorama, and Time-lapse modes. It also shoots 1080P video and has a 5MP front-facer.

Other specs include a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot for expansion. Its 2500mAh battery is charged via microUSB. On the software front, it runs Android 5.0 and is pre-installed with a screen recorder app for recording and sharing game play.

The GO PLAY comes in at $199 and is currently available at Alcatel’s online store. The device comes with a free rugged case available in blue, red, green, or black.
