T-Mobile will offer up to half the cost of a Pixel to anyone who brings their Pixel to its network

Well, this was unexpected. After teasing a big announcement last night, T-Mobile has today revealed that it has a giant offer available for Pixel owners. Bring your device to T-Mobile, and you can get up to half its cost refunded via service credits…

While T-Mobile still won’t offer the Pixel in stores, it will give any Pixel customers a credit of $13.55 taken off of their bill each month for 24 months, adding up to a grand total of $325, otherwise known as half the cost of the 32GB 5-inch Pixel. In the words of T-Mobile, more likely, John Legere himself, “that’s not just powerful, it’s bring-your-own-Pixel powerful.” Further, Legere had the following to say regarding the deal.

What’s the catch? There really isn’t anything big. The credit is automatically applied when you activate a Pixel (of any variant) on T-Mobile’s network and show T-Mobile your proof of purchase through its validation website. The sole catch is that you have to be using T-Mobile One. In this case, any tradeoffs might just be worthwhile, if you actually have your hands on a Pixel that is…
