During the long lead-up to last year’s election, Google heavily encouraged people to vote with numerous helpful features and reminders. As with earlier events during the campaign, YouTube notes that several news channels will be livestreaming next week’s Inauguration Day.

January 20th usually ends up being a nearly full day festivity with parades, balls, and of course the swearing-in ceremony starting at 11:30AM EST.
Leading up to election day, Google rolled out a number of features to encourage people to vote. Searching ‘where to vote’ revaled a card with state-by-state registration details and requirements, as well as ballot information down to the state and local level.
On the actual day of the election, various Google products featured doodles, reminders, and links on the location of your polling place.
