Lenovo is expected to unveil the Moto G5 tomorrow at its MWC presentation, but some images of the phone and its retail packaging have leaked (via OLX) ahead of time. The Moto G5 looks to follow roughly the same design language originally introduced with the Moto Z, and finally introduces a fingerprint sensor to the G series.
The protective film on the Moto G5’s display reveal a 5″ 1080P display, dual nanoSIM support, a 2800 mAh battery, a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor, 32 GB of on-board storage (presumably expandable via microSD), a 13 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Within the packaging of the Moto G5 rest the battery, info pamphlets, the charging cable and adapter, and a pair of headphones.
We’ll have more info including pricing and release date on the Moto G5 and its larger companion, the Moto G5 Plus, following Lenovo’s MWC 2017 announcement.
