Samsung is currently rolling out another beta for its Android 14 release, with this marking the ninth beta build sent out to Galaxy S23 owners.
Spotted by @tarunvats23 on Twitter/X, Samsung’s latest Android 14 beta for the Galaxy S23 series is rolling out in the United States as a 421.83 MB update. SamMobile further notes that it is rolling out in the UK and Germany already too.
With the build number ending in ZWJM, this is the ninth beta Samsung has released since the One UI 6 beta program first opened up in August of this year. The update still carries, unsurprisingly, the October 2023 security update.
What’s new in this latest beta?
This ninth release is simply explained as fixing more bugs, with Samsung saying that it leads to an “improvement of overall software stability.” Beyond that, we don’t know if there are any specific issues the company has addressed.
The timing of this latest release comes as an interesting time, as just this week Samsung confirmed that its beta program would be closing very soon, which points to the full, stable release being imminent. But, instead, we’re just looking at yet another beta release. We’d say that the stable release is likely next in line, but that’s what everyone expected with the previous beta release.
