Snapdragon X Elite laptops arrive in June; Here’s the full list and where to pre-order

Microsoft has just kicked off a new wave of Windows PCs powered by Snapdragon X Elite, with “Copilot+ PCs” available for pre-order starting today from several brands. Here’s a full list of what’s coming and when.

Snapdragon X Elite was first announced in late 2023 as a promising new ARM-based chipset for Windows laptops. In the time since, a lower-power version, Snapdragon X Plus, was also announced. The two chips both have a heavy AI focus with powerful NPUs built in, but they’re also more powerful than the ARM chips we’ve seen on Windows in the past. According to Microsoft, Windows laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite will be more powerful than the M3-powered MacBook Air, Apple’s latest laptop.

It’s a big shift for Windows laptops, and it’s not just Microsoft driving the push.

Alongside a duo of new Surface machines – the new Surface Laptop the Surface Pro – many Windows partners are also debuting hardware using Qualcomm’s new chips. Names include Samsung, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, Dell, and HP, with more to come in the future.

This first wave of machines will start at $999 for devices running Snapdragon X Plus $1,249 for Snapdragon X Elite.

Here’s a full breakdown of every laptop that’s been announced with Snapdragon X Elite or Plus so far, including their release windows and pricing.
