Galaxy Book 4 Edge packs Snapdragon X Elite starting at $1,349 (with a free TV)

Alongside Microsoft’s push for “Copilot+ PCs,” Samsung just announced the Galaxy Book 4 Edge which packs Snapdragon X chips starting at $1,349.

The Galaxy Book 4 Edge is the latest addition to the Galaxy Book 4 series that first debuted earlier this year. The main difference between those laptops is that the Edge ditches Intel for Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X series of chips. Specifically, 3.4GHz and 3.8GHz variants of Snapdragon X Elite, Samsung says.

Samsung is offering the Galaxy Book 4 Edge in three tiers, all with AMOLED displays. The base model is a 14-inch laptop with the lesser Snapdragon X Elite starting at $1,349. Next up is a 16-inch option with Plus for $1,449. If you want the 3.8GHz Snapdragon X Elite, though, you can only buy the 16-inch model and it will cost $1,749.

All include 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

As with its Intel-powered machines, Samsung is leaning heavily into ecosystem features with its Galaxy phones and tablets using Link to Windows. Samsung also says that it worked with Microsoft to allow Copilot on the laptop interact with the phone by using voice prompts to access messages, set timers, and more on their phone but from the laptop.

Samsung collaborated with Microsoft to bring Copilot in Windows to Galaxy Book, enabling the perfect mix of on-device and cloud-based AI for the best experience. For everyday actions such as setting alarms, retrieving contacts, sending messages, and more, users can access their mobile devices via Copilot voice prompts. Copilot also supports intelligent, next-step action suggestions for increased productivity.

The Galaxy Book 4 Edge is available for pre-order today at Samsung.com. As a pretty wild pre-order bonus, Samsung is throwing in a free 50-inch TV with the Galaxy Book 4 Edge. You’ll get a 50-inch “Crystal UHD 4K TV” which Samsung says is a $379 value.

Galaxy Book 4 Edge starts shipping on June 18.
