For a while, Samsung has offered Galaxy phones in online exclusive colors, and they’ve often looked pretty great. Currently, Samsung is taking $300 off of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in both online exclusive colors – Crafted Black and White.
In the case of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, online exclusive colors are no more expensive than the traditional colorways offered to every storefront that sells the phone. Instead, they start at $1,899 like every other model.
For an unknown amount of time, Samsung is reducing the price of these limited edition models by $300, bringing the Galaxy Z Fold 6 down to $1,599 before trade-ins, which also happen to be boosted right now.
The two colors offered in the online exclusive are Crafter Black and White. White is rather straightforward, while Crafted Black takes on a carbon fiber-esque look. If you look closely, the colorway looks like small 35mm film strips strewn across the phone. Sounds weird; looks cool.
As for the boosted trade-ins, Samsung is taking a lot of traded phones in for more money back to you than normal. For instance, last year’s Z Fold 5 will get the user back $1,200, which isn’t the worst we’ve seen. A Galaxy S24 Ultra traded in will net the user $1,000 – that’s a pretty good deal.
As mentioned, it’s unknown how long Samsung is running this promotion, but it’s a neat way to grab a Fold 6 in limited colors while they’re a little less expensive.
