Pixel 9 November update fixes Bluetooth, display issues

With the Android 15 November security patch, the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold are getting their next update with several fixes.

All devices benefit from “general improvements for performance and stability in certain UI transitions and animations.” The Pixel 8a gets a specific fix for an “issue with screen brightness flickering under certain conditions.”

For the Pixel 9 series, this November update resolves issues:

  • …with Bluetooth range under certain conditions
  • …observing camera tilt when zooming between cameras under certain conditions
  • …causing white dots to flash under certain conditions
  • …occasionally preventing Adaptive brightness from activating in certain conditions
  • …in pressing the keyboard dismiss button in certain conditions

Since launch, some owners had observed the Pixel 9 Pro XL ignoring corner taps.
