According to the latest leaks, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series won’t be seeing a price hike in Europe, but that may not apply everywhere.
Samsung’s flagship smartphone prices have slowly risen in recent years, with the Galaxy S24 series starting at $799 and going up to $1,299 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. With rising costs… everywhere else, it’s been unclear whether or not Samsung would raise the price on Galaxy S25, and it seems there’s conflicting reports.
WinFuture says that, in Europe, the Galaxy S25 series will start at €899 for the base Galaxy S25. The Galaxy S25+ jumps up to €1,149 while S25 Ultra starts at €1,449. These prices are unchanged from the current generation.
However, this may not be the case in other regions.
Yonhap News reports that the Galaxy S25 series could see a price increase due to exchange rates and the rising cost of imported parts, primarily including the Snapdragon 8 Elite. That’s in part because Samsung plans to use Qualcomm’s latest chip in all three devices, rather than just the Ultra as was the case with the current generation.
With barely a month before the expected January 22 launch, more price leaks are likely to surface soon enough, but it sounds like things could vary by region.
