We all know that Samsung has new foldables in the pipeline, but the company just confirmed the branding of Galaxy Z “Fold 7” and “Flip 7” in one of the strangest ways.
As spotted by GalaxyClub, two new versions of Samsung’s internet browser popped up on the Galaxy Store. One is “Samsung Internet for One UI 8 beta,” a special version that has some updated features for the ongoing Android 16-based beta.
The other is titled “Samsung Internet Browser for Fold7 and Flip7.” This is Samsung’s first official reference to its new foldables, and confirms the “Galaxy Z Fold 7” and “Galaxy Z Flip 7” branding. A truly bizarre post from Samsung earlier this week has led many to believe the Fold 7 will be called the “Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra,” something that is very likely not the case, and that this app listing seems to confirm.
It’s not clear why there’s a completely separate listing for Samung Internet just for these new foldables – especially as there’s no differentiation in the screenshots or description – but it still serves as our first confirmation of Samsung’s branding this year.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are set to launch in July.
