Wireless Android Auto beats plugging in any day, given you have a good connection. The Motorola MA1 makes ditching a USB-C cable possible for the wireless Android Auto experience, and it’s down to one of the best deals we’ve seen.
It isn’t the absolute best dongle out there, and Motorola is reportedly getting ready to release a new version within the next few months. That being said, a flash deal brings it to only $35 right now to get started with wireless Android Auto, when its MSRP sits at $90.
Motorola launched the MA1 in 2022, offering a solution to users who had been stuck with a wired Android Auto connection. With the dongle, all of the benefits of Android Auto are available from engaging the ignition. It can be a little tricky to get paired and working, but when it does, it’s a simple solution that just works.
There are other options available, like dongles from AAWireless that perform very well. Those tend to be a little pricier at around $65. They’re great options, but Motorola’s version will do just fine for convenience.
We’ve seen Motorola’s first wireless Android Auto dongle dop before in previous deals, but $35 is a steal. Even if the new version launches for a competitive price, it’s hard to imagine it’ll be close given rising costs across the tech industry. We’re not sure how long this deal will last, but it’s currently live on Amazon.
