Motorola teases Razr Fold pre-orders that start pretty soon

The Motorola Razr Fold looks like a pretty exciting new foldable, and impressive as Motorola’s first book-style entry. Its release date has been a mystery, but Motorola is now teasing Razr Fold pre-orders than start in just a couple of weeks.

On its UK-based Twitter/X account, Motorola says that Razr Fold pre-orders begin in “15 days,” which points to April 11. That’s a Saturday, which is a bit odd, but it’s way sooner than anyone expected, especially considering this is specifically for the FIFA-edition of the Razr Fold that was unveiled at MWC alongside the Fold’s software.

Razr Fold has been teased for around three months now, but without any real indication as to when it will be released.

We’re due for new Razr flip phones in the not-too-distant future, and the leaks are starting, which seems like a good time to launch the book-style model. But Motorola’s teasers have more so suggested a release date later in the year. It seems very possible this pre-order launch could be regional or coming well ahead of the full release, but it certainly points to something coming sooner rather than later.

Motorola Razr Fold is confirmed to cost €1,999 in Europe with the Motorola Pen Ultra included, but this UK launch will probably give us an even better idea of what to expect in other regions such as the US.
