Motorola’s new Razr lineup is likely debuting very soon and, in a new report, we’re getting US prices on the Motorola Razr (2026) series as well as the Razr Fold, with a lot of price hikes in tow.

Motorola is preparing to launch its first book-style foldable, the Razr Fold, in the UK and Europe with early bird discounts and some freebies too.

The Motorola Razr Fold looks like a pretty exciting new foldable, and impressive as Motorola’s first book-style entry. Its release date has been a mystery, but Motorola is now teasing Razr Fold pre-orders than start in just a couple of weeks.

In addition to another clamshell entry in its ongoing Razr series, Motorola is teeing up for an expansion into book-style foldables later this year. Ahead of that launch, new reporting suggests Motorola is absolutely crushing it in the folding phone market, especially in the US and Latin America.

Motorola’s new Razr Fold looked great when we didn’t know anything about it, but it just looks all the more attractive now. During a hands-on session at MWC 2026 this weekend, I was able to see more of the Razr Fold’s software suite, and it feels very much like it’s the perfect middle ground between the Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy approaches to book-style foldables.

Following a preview back at CES, Motorola is officially detailing the Razr Fold specs including a big 6,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

The Motorola Razr Fold doesn’t need to get the leak treatment right before it’s announced because the company already gave us a sneak peek at the beginning of the year. What wasn’t known, however, was what Motorola’s flashy FIFA special edition Razr Fold would look like.

Motorola has done well with its flip phone Razr series in recent years, but the company revealed at CES 2026 last month that it would enter the book-style category with the Razr Fold due out later this year. It looks promising, and apparently we’ll be getting more details at MWC 2026 next week.

With the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung killed off support for the S Pen stylus for the sake of thinness, and now everyone else is suddenly rushing to add the feature to upcoming foldables.

The Razr Fold doesn’t look like a company’s first steps in designing a larger foldable. In fact, the Razr Fold from Motorola meets the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and beats the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in almost every physical aspect, but it probably won’t be available for a good while.

After a few generations of clamshell foldables, Motorola is officially teasing the “Razr Fold” this year at CES, with the device launching later this year with stylus support as a major bullet point.

The Razr series saw a recent revival over the past couple of years, but Motorola isn’t stopping at flip phones. The Moto Razr Fold is supposedly on its way, and recent leaks give us a clear look at how the company wants to approach the form factor.
