Google redesigning the Fitbit, Home & Nest Community forums

Google today teased an upcoming redesign of the “Fitbit Community” and “Google Home & Nest Community.”

Community.fitbit.com and googlenestcommunity.com are unique for not using the support.google.com/PRODUCT/community website for customer feedback and announcements. Google Nest is on the same platform as Stadia, while the Fitbit forums predate the Google acquisition.

Both communities today noted that updates are coming in May.

Moving forward means gearing up for the future. That’s why you can expect a cleaner look and a lightning-fast interface that feels as modern as your Fitbit device!

Optimized organization

To help you navigate through your Fitbit Community, we’re completely revamping how content lives in our community.

Intuitive categories – Get where you need to in fewer clicks!

Streamlined discussions – A new layout designed to keep the most helpful device front and center.

A sleek, modern design: we’re gearing up for the future with a cleaner look and a lightning-fast interface.

Optimized organization: To help you navigate through the Google Home & Nest Community, we’re completely revamping how content lives in our community.

  • Intuitive categories – Get where you need to in fewer clicks!
  • Streamlined discussions – A new layout, reorganized content, and a dedicated discussion space for Gemini for Home.

Of note is how Google teases a “lightning-fast interface that feels as modern as your Fitbit device.” There’s also “optimized organization” with “intuitive categories” and “streamlined discussions.”

This isn’t just a fresh coat of paint, it’s a foundational shift. We’re integrating into a broader, more robust ecosystem. By moving to this new platform, we’re making sure that your experience remains world-class for years to come.

The caveat is that your existing “post history won’t be available anymore in the new community.” It’s unclear if these two communities are just moving to the existing Google Help platform, but it sounds like a new offering.
