The white edition of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is 60% off its retail price of a hard-to-swallow $499. At $199, though, it’s a no-brainer.
The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is one of Samsung’s best smartwatches. Technically, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is Samsung’s pride and joy, but it’s also slightly older with a simple re-release during the newer Watch 8 launch.
The Wear OS/One UI watch normally runs for somewhere under the launch price of $499, with Galaxy Watch 8 Classic deals coming and going. The latest one, courtesy of Woot, brings the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic down to $199. That price is good for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi edition, not the cellular model. The Galaxy Watch 8 is also on sale, but slightly more expensive.
The one caveat to this deal is that the $199 Watch 8 Classic only comes in white. There are only two colorways, and the only difference between the two is the bezel color. The black model looks a little more sleek, while the white model stands out a bit more. Still, slap a dark digital watch face on there and replace the strap, and you can do a lot with it. If you want black, you may have to wait and see if it returns to Woot.
Woot’s page notes that the sale is only around for 4 days. The only reason it wouldn’t be around that long is if it sells out, and generally, items like the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic tend to sell out before the deal expires. There are no other deals like this right now, and even Samsung’s official page offers the watch at full price with a trade-in credit. Woot’s deal means an instant $300 off with no trade-in.
