Galaxy Z Fold 8 wallpapers leak, and I hope the phone’s colors look half as good

A new leak has revealed the alleged wallpapers Samsung is bringing to the Galaxy Z Fold 8, with everything lining up with leaked colors for the actual phone. I just hope the phone’s colors look even halfway as good as the wallpapers.

Fahad Ali Javed on Twitter/X, a leaker who has been posting about Samsung’s beta updates and internal software builds for a while, this week posted a batch of wallpapers that are claimed to be for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 – the “Wide” one, not the “Ultra.”

There are four wallpapers, including pink, beige, black/grey, and green themes.

The new look is derived from an animation where an “8” figure turns into a swirly shape, as seen below. It looks pretty neat!

Full-res copies were shared, but they’ll only be available for a little over a day.

Personally, the green theme is what has caught my eye, largely because “Pistachio” is one of the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 8 colors, as corroborated by leaker Ice Universe following another report.

After years of fairly drab foldable colors on the Z Fold series, Samsung broke its mold with the deep blue of last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. If these wallpapers are any indication, I truly hope Samsung is following that up this year with some more fun colors.
