Mint Mobile cuts all plans to $15/month as its Google Pixel phones have vanished

Mint Mobile is currently running one of its recurring specials that cuts all of its plans to $15/month, but it comes as the carrier has suddenly run out of Google Pixel phones to sell.

Carriers like Mint Mobile are already a great way to save money on your phone service, but it’s even better at the moment. For a “limited time” – there’s no end date mentioned – Mint is cutting all of its plans down to $15/month. That comes out to an entire year of service for $180, a fraction of what you’d pay on a lot of other carriers.

The prepaid deal is really the only “catch” too.

You’re getting whichever plan you choose, including Unlimited, for what boils down to $15 per month. You don’t even have to buy a full year, with the discount applying to even the 3-month and 6-month intervals.

The only other catch is that this only applies to your initial plan term, meaning you have to be a new customer. But Mint will let you renew a 3-month plan with the 6-month or 12-month plans at the same rate.

Once the 3 months are up on your New Customer Offer, you can renew with a 3, 6 or 12-month plan to keep the savings going.

Here’s the disclaimer on the deal:

Upfront payment of $45 for 3-month plan, $90 for 6-month plan, or $180 for 12-month plan (each equiv. to $15/mo.) req’d. New customer offer for initial plan term only; then full-price plan options available. Taxes & fees extra…

This comes at a slightly awkward time for Pixel fans, though, as Mint Mobile has suddenly run out of Google’s phones. Mint has been offering Pixel devices for a few years now, with some crazy Pixel 10 offers in recent memory. But, all of the sudden, they’re just gone.

There’s still a section on Mint’s website for “Google phones,” but nothing is listed – there’s not even a “out of stock” placeholder.

With just a month or so to go until Google launches new Pixel devices, it’s very possible Mint is just waiting for a fresh release to restock. We’ve reached out to Mint for more information.

In the meantime, you can still just buy a Pixel elsewhere and use it on Mint.
