Google teases Pixel 11 Pro Fold, early pre-order time on August 12

Following the Pixel 11 Pro last week, Google is now officially teasing the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

This 15-second video is in the same “Ask more of your phone” style as the first teaser: “To switch phones, you have to be open to what’s new. And to what opens.”

At the 5-second mark, you can see the pill-shaped cutout for the lenses protruding from the Camera Bar.

It’s fairly straightforward, though the ‘G’ logo lighting up on the back of the phone is just the clip being heavily stylized.

Meanwhile, the Google Store homepage now has a countdown for August 12 at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. GMT. Similarly, Best Buy’s landing page for the Pixel 11 series has another one for pre-orders.

This suggests that pre-orders will open before the actual Made by Google 2026 event and livestream at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. GMT. There was a similar gap last year, but it was only a 1-hour difference.
