Google Pixel 11

Google’s Pixel 11 series is in the pipeline and, in the latest Android 17 beta release, we spotted a quick preview of the wallpapers set to debut on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

According to a new report, Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 series will be among the first – perhaps even the first – to get Samsung’s new flagship M16 OLED display panels, beating out iPhones to the switch, and Samsung’s Galaxy series too.

Right on schedule following yesterday’s Pixel 11 leak, the Pixel 11 Pro has shown up in leaked renders that show how, for the most part, this is the same phone for the third year in a row.

Over the past two generations of Pixel, Google has built its smartphone brand into one of the few brands able to find (relative) growth in an increasingly-stagnant arena. Today, we’re getting our first look at this year’s Pixel 11, and despite being an anniversary release, it’s looking like we’re getting a third take on Google’s current design.

It’s already Pixel 11 leak season folks, with the first CAD-based renders of the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro Fold having just hit the web to reveal a device that, frankly, doesn’t look all that different.

Biometrics are a core part of any smartphone nowadays, and Google Pixel is one of the few brands that balances both fingerprint and face unlock properly. But it seems Google wants to take things a step further on Pixel, with a new “Project Toscana” in the works that includes new face unlock hardware for phones and even Chromebooks, which is said to be comparable to iPhone’s Face ID in performance.

With the Pixel 10 just over a month old, rumors about its successor are beginning to pick up. The Tensor G6 for the Pixel 11 is said to switch to a MediaTek modem.

Codenames for the Pixel 11 have already emerged, with Google opting for a bear theme in 2026. Meanwhile, Google might apparently use Tensor G4 on the Pixel 10a as a possible cost-cutting measure.
