OnePlus has officially revealed the design of the OnePlus 16, a device that’s likely not going to be available to many of the customers who were previously able to buy OnePlus flagships.
In China, the OnePlus 16 is right around the corner from a full unveiling. Ahead of that, teasers are in full swing in the usual OnePlus style, including a landing page on the brand’s website.
In terms of design, OnePlus 16 looks a lot like the OnePlus 15, though in some new colors including an orange color with some topographical design accents. There’s also a blue/silver color has what appear to be light-up elements on the back. It’s unclear what function those might serve, though.
The three colors are “Dark Forest,” Tomorrow Starlight,” and “Mars Masterpiece,” with Oppo’s online store in China confirming 12/256GB, 12/512GB, 16/512GB, and 16/1TB configurations.
This is the part where we’d normally speculate on global release plans but, given OnePlus’ exit from nearly every major market outside of China, that’s simply not happening this time around.
