Plex today announced an update for its Android app that brings with it several improvements and new features. The update, which bumps the app to version 4.4.0.069 is available on the Play Store now. One much welcomed change for mobile users is that there is now a “jump to letter” feature to make scrolling much faster within the library.
For Android TV users, Plex now includes “Watch Later” and “Recommended” sections on the home screen, as well as support for channels. Other changes include Plex Home support for managed users and faster user switching, while slideshows now loop back to the beginning when they end.
There are also, of course, a host of bug fixes and performance enhancements, all of which can be seen below. The update is available now on the Play Store. The APK file can also be downloaded from Plex’s website here, as long as you’re a Plex Pass subscriber.
