Update: It looks like some are having a hard time finding the theme on the Theme Store. It’s not clear if it has been pulled, but we’ll update when we learn more.
If you have one the latest Samsung smartphones, the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, you may be waiting for a way to ditch TouchWiz. Because even though Samsung’s skin has definitely gotten better over time and — this year in particular — has seen much-improved visual design, stock Android’s Material Design-based interface can’t really be beat. Now, thanks to developer Samer Zayer, there’s a new Material Design theme available through Samsung’s official Theme Store app…
As you can see in the screenshots above, the theme does a pretty good job of emulating Google’s UI. The quick settings shade and menus have adopted Google’s seafoam green-esque colors (although still laid out in Samsung’s fashion, of course), you’ll find a redesigned phone app that incorporates a revamped Material interface, and the phone’s home screen will sport all of Google’s fabulously redesigned app icons. The app drawer icon is given the design familiar to those who run stock Android as well.

Sadly, Samsung’s Theme Store isn’t the best or most organized app in the world. To find the new theme, you’ll need to navigate to the gender-segregated “Themes for Man” section to find the listing. From there, you’ll be able to download the theme for free.
