A new update to Google’s Waze app sees Nate Bargatze join as a celebrity voice, ready to crack jokes along your daily commute.
Available now in the Waze app, comedian Nate Bargatze is the latest celebrity guest voice. Available for a limited time, users can select Bargatze from the app’s settings. You’ll just need to have the latest Waze update, and dive into Settings to check for the new voice option. This is available globally, but only if the app’s language is set to English.
As you drive, Bargatze will interject with the occasional joke to “bring a smile to your drive” as Google puts it.
Nate’s sensor of humor takes the edge off your daily commute and brings a smile to your drive. Expect witty commentary, relatable anecdotes and a healthy dose of Southern charm. This Waze experience is all about enjoying the solitude of the open road and embracing the unexpected turns of life. As you’ll hear Nate put it, “Shout out to everyone driving with a list of errands from their spouse. There’s no time limit on these errands, OK? You could be gone for months.”
If you have the Waze app installed, you can click on this link to activate the Nate Bargatze voice before your next trip to Starbucks for an “iced coffee whip cream.”
