The OnePlus 15 was meant to arrive in the United States last month, but the longest government shutdown in this country’s history brought that plan to a halt. After several weeks of delays, though, the company’s next long-lasting flagship is now available for pre-order.
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will go up for sale in the US starting on December 4th at 11AM ET. This follows an unexpected delay caused by the closure of the FCC, which failed to deliver final certification to OnePlus prior to the government shutdown that initially began on October 1st. We had confirmation last week that the OnePlus 15 did finally earn its FCC approval last week, and now, just ahead of the holidays, power users have something to celebrate.
In fact, it might be that holiday spirit that has OnePlus offering its fans some pretty sweet pre-order bundles. When orders open at 11AM on Thursday, US shoppers can select one of four add-ons with their purchase for no additional charge. Those selections include:
- OnePlus Watch 3 43mm ($299.99 value, available only with the 512GB variant)
- OnePlus Buds Pro 3 ($179.99 value)
- OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger ($79.99 value)
- OnePlus 15 phone cases ($25-$40 value)
Obviously, there are some pretty large price discrepancies between these free bonuses, so if you want the OnePlus Watch 3 or Buds Pro 3, you’re going to want to make sure you’re ready to pre-order right at launch. The company warns these bundles are first-come, first-served, with limited stock available. Expect those phone cases to last a lot longer than the other gadgets.
OnePlus also has a handful of other launch offers, including $100 in instant credit with an any-condition, any-phone trade-in, a $100 cashback bonus when your purchase includes a trade-in, and up to 30% off additional accessories when buying a OnePlus 15. Those are all solid deals on a device that already presents some pretty decent value at $900, though you’ll want to check out my review to find out just what makes the device so successful, and what holds it back from overachieving.
Update 12/4: OnePlus 15 US pre-orders are now open at the company’s website, with the option to choose from any of the accessories listed above at checkout. Those looking to purchase from Best Buy or Amazon will need to keep waiting. Current shipping times are around two weeks.
