If your smart speakers have been plagued by broken Apple Music integration, the latest Google Home update delivers a fix.
Through its latest batch of updates, Google Home has added a bunch of new improvements, including the ability to create automations based on what your camera sees.
Within the lengthy changelog, Google also confirms that Apple Music support on smart speakers has been restored, with Apple assisting in the fix.
Google explains:
Apple Music playback restored: We worked with Apple to resolve an issue so you can listen to Apple Music on your speakers again.
Over the past month, this issue has popped up on multiple occasions, with affected users finding speakers unable to connect to smart speakers used with Google Home through Apple Music. It’s unclear just how widespread the issue is, but it was enough to warrant a fix and mention by Google.
