Gemini app facing partial outage for some users 

As of Wednesday morning (PT), the Gemini app is facing an outage for some users. 

Over the past few hours, Gemini app users have been seeing “Something Went Wrong 1099 or 1076” error messages. Another instance of this outage is entering a prompt and having Gemini place it back in the text box. Tapping enter again might get the prompt to work.

This outage extends to the Gemini app on the web, Android, iOS, and macOS, as well as Gemini in Chrome.

On the Workspace side (Gemini side panel), this issue emerged at around 3:30 a.m. PT.

Google’s Josh Woodward provided an update at 10:31 a.m. PT about how “Gemini is currently experiencing an outage. We’re on it and will get everything back up ASAP. Some of the fixes are in, the rest coming very soon.”
