Wyze is today launching a new scale that tracks more than just your weight while also being affordable, with the Wyze Scale BodyScan costing under $80.
Available starting today, Wyze Scale BodyScan is a more affordable version of last year’s “Ultra BodyScan” model that costs $120.
Like the Ultra, this new model has a built-in handle that is used to go beyond just tracking your weight. The handle can be used to track your body composition, including the ability to measure muscle mass, lean weight, visceral fat, and more.
Wyze breaks down the highlights as follows:
- Step Anywhere Surface: An advanced ITO conductive glass that gives highly accurate body composition measurements no matter where users step.
- Digital Health Report Exports: Users can generate a PDF report of their body composition right from the Wyze app to track long-term trends.
- Body Comp Targeting: Grip the built-in handle for a targeted breakdown of muscle and fat distribution across users’ arms, legs, and torso.
- 17 Essential Metrics: Measure body weight, BMI, body fat, muscle mass, muscle rate, body water, physical age, protein, lean weight, bone mass, visceral fat, basal metabolism, subcutaneous fat, fat mass, skeletal muscle mass and segmented muscle mass and body fat with high accuracy.
- All of the Data, None of the Scrolling: View seven key metrics (weight, body fat, BMI, muscle mass, bone mass, body water, and protein) directly on the massive 4.7-inch LED display the second users step on. No app required, and absolutely no bending down with their phone.
- Baby/Pet/Luggage Mode: Weigh babies, pets, luggage, or that absurdly heavy kids backpack with smart baby/pet modes.
- Unlimited Sharing and User Recognition: Automatically recognize and sync data for up to eight unique users. Take one-off measurements for unlimited guests so everyone can track their health without messing up your personal trends.
The Wyze Scale BodyScan also features the ability to sync your details with other apps. Through Health Connect, it can integrate with Google Health, and also supports Apple Health for iOS users. Wyze can also generate PDF breakdowns.
