Google Wallet on Android phones now shows Wear OS payment history

As previewed earlier this year, the Google Wallet app on phones can now show payment history made by Wear OS watches.

Previously, the 10-item transaction history that appears in the Google Wallet app for each stored payment method would only show purchases made by your phone.

Google Wallet’s transaction history now shows NFC payments made by your Wear OS device. The full details page will note “Purchase made on watch” just underneath the date and time for a more comprehensive experience.

It makes the transaction history within Google Wallet a bit more useful and saves you from having to check using the wearable app. Unfortunately, the 10-item limitation remains in place today.

We’ve just noticed this change today, but the history is retroactive.

Google first teased this functionality in January: “You can now view transactions from other devices and online purchases that use virtual card numbers.”
