A new leak has revealed Samsung’s revamped Galaxy Wearable app for Galaxy Watch.
SammyGuru obtained an early version of the new Galaxy Wearable app, showing what it looks like with a Galaxy Watch as well as spilling a few details on Galaxy Watch 9.
The app redesign isn’t all that different from the existing version, with a preview of your watch and its face on the “home” page, followed by a list of additional options for changing the watch face, adjusting settings, and more. The difference is mainly that most additional options now appear on a secondary tab instead of the main one, with a floating bar at the bottom of the app including a central tab, a settings tab, and one dedicated to watch faces.
It’s that watch face tab that gives off some serious Pixel Watch vibes, as Samsung is now showing a render of your Galaxy Watch over the watch face, just like Google’s app does.

Here’s how those pages compare to the old Galaxy Wearable app (via Play Store):

And the Pixel Watch app:

Beyond the redesign, this leaked app shows off some new Galaxy Watch 9 tidbits, including confirmation that Samsung’s new watch will support Gemini’s “Raise to Talk” feature that debuted last year on the Pixel Watch 4.
There’s also a host of new health features including “Daily Cardio Load” recommendations, “Sound Exposure,” “Trail Run” maps, automatic diving modes, and waypoint saving.

This new app is likely to debut with the Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2, both expected to launch later this month.
