The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is going to be pretty disappointing; that much is clear. But, taking the sting out just a bit is a new deep purple color for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra that just looks absolutely stunning.
In addition to black and white color variants, a deep purple version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has leaked in renders shared by Android Headlines. This comes just hours after Watch 9, Watch Ultra 2, Z Flip 8, and Z Fold 8 renders hit the web.

As expected, there’s nothing exicting on the hardware front about the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. It looks exactly like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, just now in black, white, and purple colorways.
But that deep purple really is quite stunning. Personally, I can’t wait to see it in person. It’s not nearly as vibrant as the Fold 7’s blue, but it’s definitely unique.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to deliver a bigger 5,000 mAh battery, 45W charging, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and a minor camera upgrade too. It’s not nearly as special as the name implies, especially seeing as it comes with a big price hike.
We’ll find out more – and see what this purple looks like in real life – at Unpacked on July 22.
