Galaxy Z Flip 8 leaks in full with almost no changes; still no Snapdragon [Gallery]

Alongside plenty of other Samsung leaks, a new report offers up the full details of the Galaxy Z Flip 8, and there’s a reason nobody is particularly excited about this one.

WinFuture has posted not only a full gallery of official-looking Galaxy Z Flip 8 images, but also the full specs of Samsung’s new flip phone foldable.

And, wow, it’s really not different at all is it?

Citing retailer data, it sounds like Galaxy Z Flip 8 is the same shell as Galaxy Z Flip 7, and most of the same specs, including the chipset. Exynos 2600 powers the show, an upgrade from last year’s model, but not the Snapdragon many were hoping for (and expecting). The only other upgrade is in charging, with 45W wired support. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is also lighter at 180g, down from 188g. Dimensions, initially rumored to be slimming down, are actually a bit thicker to a tiny degree – “two-tenths of a millimeter in both height and width when unfolded” as WinFuture explains.
