It’s only been a month since the Pixel 11 series was announced and released, but Verizon already has the phone on sale without a trade-in or seemingly any other fine print caveat. The carrier requires users to sign up for the simplicity plan, but the Pixel 11 Pro can still be bought outright in this deal for just $479 – $620 off.
Spotted by Droid Life, Verizon is currently running a deal that doesn’t follow the same recipe as most carrier specials. You might expect to get a “deal” rolled up in carrier fees and a contract that stretches the device cost out over a year or two. Instead, Verizon’s Simplicity Plan allows users to buy the Pixel 11 Pro outright and simply pay the monthly service fee.
It isn’t just the Pixel 11 Pro. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is also included in Verizon’s deal for $580 off, and those discounts apply to both storage variants. In either case, the savings are significant enough to warrant a look into what Verizon is offering, even if you like to buy your devices unlocked.
Verizon doesn’t make it easy to see the deal from its page, but it’s straightforward enough:
- Open Verizon’s Pixel 11 Pro page here.
- Select Phone only.
- Choose Pay in full today under the payment method box.
You should see a total come up to $479 for the Pixel 11 Pro. Hit Next steps and follow the next few pages, ignoring or selecting add-ons. If you decide to port a number over, you’ll save an extra $15/month for the plan.
Again, the plan using this Pixel 11 Pro deal comes out to either $30/month or $40/month, but the phone isn’t part of that monthly bill. That’s where this deal differs from what we usually see in carrier offers.
