Anthropic is today revealing Claude Duet, its new AI agent that rivals Muse, OpenAI Dots, but it’s not widely available just yet.
Claude Duet is “a proactive agent” designed to use the context of your own history with Claude and connections to other resources. Anthropic says the aim is to serve “professionals and small business owners with more on their plates than they can track.”
Duet will be available in a “research preview” for Pro and Max plans, but starting in a waitlist.
Outlining how Claude Duet might help out during the days, Anthropic says:
Each morning, it sends you a short brief on the most important items across your connected apps. Throughout the day, it keeps tabs on those apps and messages you only when something needs your attention. You can also hand it tasks of all shapes—from simple administrative tasks of scheduling meetings to more complex ones, such as building dashboards with dozens of tools, creating financial or sales forecasts, prototyping, and building web apps.
This arrives a few weeks after OpenAI launched Dots as its own proactive AI agent, and after Meta’s Muse saw a surge in popularity.
