Last week, AT&T confirmed that it will carry the LG G Watch R, but absent from the carrier’s reveal were pricing and an exact release date. Today, however, the outfit announced that it will start selling the device online on November 5th for $299, followed by its retail locations on November 7th. A little on the expensive side, the timepiece’s top round face sporting competitor, the Moto 360 goes for $250.
LG’s new Android Wear-powered timepiece features a 1.3-inch circular P-OLED display, 4GB of storage space, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 410mAh battery and a heart rate monitor. It’s likely that AT&T won’t be the only place selling the LG G Watch R this week, as the device’s predecessor is currently available from Google Play. So we’ll be sure to keep an eye on other retailers to see if Ma Bell has some type of timed exclusivity.
