Verizon reportedly set to launch new Moto X on September 25

Rumors of when we can expect a Moto X successor have been around for a while now, but now Droid Life is reporting that the device will be released on Verizon in late September. The blog claims that its sources are currently hearing that Verizon is planning to launch the device on September 25th.

Motorola had originally told consumers to expect a new Moto X by the end of summer, which is September 22nd. Although, it’s possible that other carriers may release the device before Verizon, which would still have Motorola hitting its deadline.

Droid Life has incredibly strong sources when it comes to Verizon news, so we have no reason not to believe that the Moto X+1 (or whatever it is called) will be released on September 25th. Earlier today, we saw leaked benchmarks of what could potentially be from the Moto X+1, as well.
