Google preparing to send out Moto 360s, requesting shipping info from I/O attendees

Moto360

Earlier today, Motorola started sending out invitations for what appears to be an official launch for the Moto 360 and a few other devices. Almost immediately following the company’s announcement, emails started rolling out to I/O attendees who were told that they’d receive Motorola’s first Android Wear-powered smartwatch after its release.

While the email doesn’t provide an exact release date, it does clarify that Google needs a preferred shipping address by September 5th, which is one day after Motorola’s big shindig in Chicago. The notice only states that the Moto 360 is set to release later this summer, which technically gives the company until September 22nd. So if we had to guess, we’d say that I/O attendees will likely start receiving their smartwatches a few days after the email’s deadline.
