Fossil plans to launch Android Wear 2.0 for all of its watches in March

Android Wear 2.0 launched earlier this month on LG’s duo of new watches — the LG Watch Sport and Style. Over the coming weeks, though, it will be rolling out to the majority of other, older Android Wear devices. Now, Fossil is giving us a time frame for that rollout on its devices…

When asked about the rollout on Twitter for the Q Founder, Fossil replied confirming that not only would the Q Founder be updated, but all of the company’s Android Wear devices would. When? Apparently, the company is aiming to launch the update in just a matter of weeks, toward the middle of March.

That’s certainly some good news for those using a Fossil wearable, as it seems that this may be one of the first updates rolling out. Currently, the only other confirmed rollout period for Android Wear 2.0 is for ASUS’ ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3, which is scheduled for Q2 of this year.

Most other Android Wear smartwatches are set to be updated this year, but time periods for the rollout have not been confirmed…
