That didn’t take long… The Droid Bionic, which just launched today for $299 on a new two-year Verizon contract, is already discounted $100 on Amazon to just $199. The Verizon online store still lists the device at the original launch price, however.

If you don’t know by now, the Bionic packs in a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16 GB internal memory (expandable to 32GB via microSD), 8 megapixel main camera (and an unspecified front-facing camera). It ships running Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.
