Latest Chrome for Android offers full-screen browsing and easier search refinements

Just a day after adding conversational voice search on the desktop version of Chrome, Google has revamped its Android version of the browser to support automatic full-screen browsing and making it easier to refine search queries …

To make browsing the mobile web even easier, web pages also display in fullscreen on phones. As you scroll, the top toolbar disappears so you can immerse yourself in the web page content. When you scroll up, the toolbar returns so you can get on to the next thing.

You can now see your search queries in the omnibox instead of the long search URL, so you can easily refine them and view more results.

Chrome for Android 27.0.1453.90 also introduces tab history – a long press on the back button displays it – as well as support for client-side security certificates. It is available for free download from Google Play.
