Google has a fun doodle today to celebrate what would have been the 85th birthday of the author and illustrator of the best-selling children’s book Where the Wild Things Are …
Click on the play icon to run the animation. One of the Google team responsible for Doodles said in March “My job is to make everyone happy for 10 seconds.”
Where the Wild Things Are, which sold 17 million copies, follows the adventures of a Max, a young boy who fights monsters in an imaginary land. Sendak, born in Poland, died just over a year ago, aged 83.
