Google Maps now lets you measure and calculate the distance between multiple points

Google recently updated its desktop version of Maps with a new feature that lets users measure the distance between two or more points on the map. To toggle this option, right-click on a starting point on the map and select “Measure distance,” and then choose a destination to see the distance between the two points.

You can click anywhere on the map to add additional locations and measuring points to your trip. There’s also an option to drag an existing map point to measure the distance from a pre-selected location to another. Travelers looking for precise measurements can twist and turn points to align them with streets on the map.

This new addition to Maps is ideal for motorists, cyclists, runners, walkers or anyone looking to create a real-world dot-to-dot that they can visit while traveling.
