LG’s Bello and Fino will start taking on emerging markets later this month

LG Announced today that it will showcase a pair of new smartphones next month at IFA in Berlin. Like some of the company’s other recently announced handsets, the L Fino and L Bello are entry-level devices that will borrow design elements from high-end gadgets like the LG G3. Targeting emerging markets and first-time smartphone buyers, both handsets are equipped with modest hardware.

The L Fino packs a 4.5-inch WVGA 800 x 400 display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing shooter, a 1,900mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. As for higher spec’d L Bello, it features a 5-inch FWVGA 854 x 480 display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter, a 1-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2,540mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

In addition to design attributes, LG is porting other features found in the G3 to both devices, like touch and shoot, Knock Code and QuickCircle cases. Both phones will launch later this month in Latin America, followed by Europe, Asia and other emerging markets. Pricing information will be available upon release for each region.
