HTC’s budget-friendly Desire 510 coming to Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile later this month

HTC’s entry-level Desire 510 is coming to Sprint on Friday, September 19th for $200 outright or $8.34 a month on the carrier’s Easy Pay program. Compatible with Sprint Spark, some of this budget-friendly smartphone’s highlights include a 4.7-inch display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, Android 4.4 and support for HD voice.

In addition to Sprint’s postpaid customers, the Desire 510 will be coming to Boost Mobile on September 22nd and Virgin Mobile on September 23rd for $100. It may not be the most desirable handset for spec enthusiasts, however if you’re on a strict budget or looking to introduce a non-tech fan to the world of smartphones, the HTC Desire 510 is an intriguing prospect.
