As part of its CES announcements kicking off today, SanDisk revealed its new, faster Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 with micro-USB for use with Android devices as well as PC and Mac computers.
SanDisk’s new drive offers transfer speeds from the device to the drive of “up to 130MB/s” for moving and backing up content like photos, videos, music, and more. With an Android device in mind, this allows you to free up space on your phone and offload it to the flash drive while you’re on-the-go without having to immediately tether to a computer to free up space.
The new SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 ships in storage capacities including 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB with suggested retail prices starting at $22.99 to $64.99.
SanDisk’s new drive interfaces with the company’s mobile Android app called Memory Zone (free on the Play Store) and the new, faster USB 3.0 drive joins SanDisk’s existing USB 2.0 drives with micro-USB and Android compatibility which can be bought at $12.37 and up now if you don’t necessarily need to faster transfer speeds.
