BLU has a growing reputation for admirable devices that cost very little, and its latest handset looks to continue that trend. The BLU Life One goes on sale at the end of this week, on July 17th and is currently available to pre-order for just $99 unlocked and SIM-free.
For just shy of $100 you’ll get a device with a 720 x 1280, 5-inch IPS display coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It’s powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 series quad-core processor and has a 13MP Sony sensor in its rear camera setup and a 2,420mAh battery to keep it going. There’s 8GB of internal storage (expandable to 64GB) and 1GB RAM. It’s dual-SIM and supports four HSPA+ GSM bands (850/1700/1900/2100) and compatible with three LTE bands (700/1700/2600). On the software side, it comes loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat but is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
On the spec-front, this seems like it could be a good device. Especially when you consider the cost. For those looking for an ultra-budget phone with great features, there’s a lot to admire about the BLU Life One. As previously mentioned, it’s available to pre-order from Amazon now and comes in three color options: Sandstone Grey/Black, White or Gold.
