While you can’t place your order yet, you can sign up for updates on Verizon’s placeholder page. In the mean time, check out our review of the device which we think is the best phone HTC has released in years. In fact, it’s definitely one of this year’s best smartphones thanks to a combination of great hardware, solid build and light, fast software. It’s not perfect, but it’s certainly a step in the right direction for the Taiwanese manufacturer.

With Sprint and AT&T not offering the HTC 10 this year, it’s left to T-Mo and Verizon to battle it out as the only major carriers selling the device. It’ll be interesting to see how that works out for HTC. Will selling it predominantly from its own online store be a wise move, or should the OEM have ensured it was available from as many carriers as possible?
