PSA: Android Wear 1.5 rolling out to the Fossil Q Founder

Most watches have received the Android Wear 1.5 update at this point, but now we’ve spotted the first report of the update hitting the Fossil Q Founder. Still based on Android 6.0.1, the Android Wear 1.5 update contains just a few incremental tweaks…

It’s not a huge update like the forthcoming Android Wear 2.0 (which will offer a complete UX overhaul among other features), but it brings some welcome changes nonetheless. The restart option in the settings menu makes a return with this version, users can now see the security patch date in the About screen, and some have also reported that notification syncing problems with Android N have been resolved.

Keep an eye out for the update to hit your watch. Usually updates have rolled out to all watches within about a week after the first users report having received the update. Other watches that have already received the Android Wear 1.5 update include the Moto 360 (2nd gen), Moto 360 Sport, Samsung Gear Live, and more.
